Alyssa Vinson, Founder & Attorney
Attorney Alyssa Vinson founded Vinson Law Firm to bring thoughtful, client-centered representation to individuals facing difficult family law challenges. With a background in both law and finance, Alyssa offers a unique perspective on how legal issues impact every aspect of her clients' lives.
A graduate of Stetson University with a degree in Accounting and a former Division I soccer player, Alyssa went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During law school, she served as president of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers chapter, reflecting her commitment to advocacy and leadership.
Alyssa is a member of the Lake County Bar Association, the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and the Collaborative Family Law Group of Central Florida. She is known for her calm presence, strategic thinking, and unwavering dedication to her clients’ well-being.
H. Andrew "Andy" Swett, Of Counsel
Attorney Andy Swett brings over 30 years of legal experience and a distinguished career on the County Court bench to Vinson Law Firm, where he proudly supports his daughter, Alyssa, in providing high-quality, compassionate family law representation.
Andy’s career began in Fort Myers as an Assistant State Attorney, followed by over 15 years in commercial litigation and criminal defense. In 2011, he was appointed to the County Court bench, where he presided over Mental Health Court, Drug Court, and helped establish Veterans Court, a testament to his innovative and rehabilitative approach to justice.
Beyond the courtroom, Andy has held leadership roles in numerous community organizations, including the McGregor Clinic and NAMI of Lee County. He was also a member of the Rotary Club of Fort Myers and Kiwanis Club. His broad legal insight, commitment to service, and family-oriented values enrich every aspect of our practice.
Cindy Terry, Paralegal
Cindy Terry is an experienced family law paralegal who plays a vital role in supporting both our legal team and our clients. A graduate of South Sumter High School, Cindy earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies in 2013, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
With over 10 years of experience in family law, Cindy brings both knowledge and compassion to every case she touches. Her attention to detail and client-focused approach help ensure that you feel informed, prepared, and supported throughout your legal journey.
